Spicy Crab Cakes
These spicy crab cakes get an extra kick from cayenne pepper.

- dill, finely chopped2 tbsp
- flat-leaf parsley, finely chopped2 tbsp
- chipotle in adobo sauce, puréed1 tbsp
- salt, to taste
- black pepper, freshly ground, to taste
- crab meat, lump blue crab meat1 lb
- Old Bay seasoning1 tbsp
- cayenne pepper1 tbsp
- kosher salt1 1/2 tsp
- black pepper1 1/2 tsp
- dijon mustard1/2 cup
- mayonnaise2 tbsp
- lemon juice2
- vegetable oil, for deep frying
- breadcrumbs, panko, as needed
- egg, beaten1

Combine all ingredients in a small bowl.
Combine all ingredients except for oil, panko, and egg. Shape into 4 equal patties.
Dip into egg then dredge in panko. Fry at 375°F just until heated through and golden brown.
